Introducing Country Foxes

Wedding Décor– So much more than chair covers with an organza sash

(and you all know how I feel about a Chair Cover!!)

Finally the Wedding Industry is changing, and 2019 is the year that Wedding couples continue to make their own rules and shift away from distinct wedding "themes" in favour of more personalised elements for their big day!

This year and beyond, expect to see fewer décor trends that are only suitable for one type of wedding, but expect more personalised elements that are more about the Couple than about the type of Wedding or Venue that the wedding is held in.

Country Foxes create bespoke wedding and event styling that is inspired by and using natural resources from a rustic country cottage setting.

They have created a range of beautiful props for hire and stationery to purchase to make your event as individual as you are.

Each set up will be adapted to suit your colour scheme, creating a style to match you perfectly.

Tell me about your Business… and a little bit about YOU - How, why and when you started

My name is Kelly – owner and creator of Country Foxes.

I live in a little cottage in a hamlet on the outskirts of Malvern, with my Fantastic Mr Fox and our little Fox Cub. I have a degree and extensive career history in design and whilst collecting and making bits and pieces for our own wedding in 2015,

I soon came to realise just how much I adore creating beautiful things. Then, after helping close friends and family make their special days that little bit more magical, Country Foxes was born.

We are passionate about wasting less, so we use recycled materials and natural resources wherever possible in a somewhat wasteful industry. In fact, it is these rustic, country garden inspirations that bring my creations to life.

We design and create beautiful props, stationery, florals and more to help make your big day even more perfect! Inspired by and using natural resources from around our country cottage setting, we create one-off classic pieces with more than a little bit of rustic charm!

How does your design process work?

We are not a ‘wedding factory’ - that’s just not our style!

We work with a small number of couples so that we can give you our full attention and have the time need to help create beautiful events. Everything we do we do with passion and pride ourselves in creating new and different tailored decorations for our couples.

We don’t do ‘standard’ as everything is created to fit around your theme. We consult with you every step of the way, design, deliver and set up for your special day then collect the next day to take away the stress of doing it yourself.

Hiring rather than buying saves you hours of sourcing and restoring as well as saving your precious time and money – two things that can be in short supply when planning a wedding.

Tell us about your Studio? Can couples visit you?

We create all of the magic in house - Literally, our house! We have an expanding prop store which unfortunately leaves little space for couple to come and visit.

We are currently working on our design studio which will hopefully give us space to grow into!

Why you love your business

I love my business! The sense of achievement for helping someone make their wedding day that little bit more special is the most wonderful feeling.

The nature of our business benefits from visiting the specific wedding venue where we can get a feel for the space, the couples concepts and their desired theme.

What do you love most about working in or designing products for the wedding industry?

Myself, an artist and textile graduate and my Engineer husband are all about creating beautiful things. There are too many companies out there who supply ‘normal’.

Your wedding day should be the furthest from ‘normal’ as you can possibly get.

I remember how I felt when we got married; like the entire day was all about my new husband and I, how individual we are and how we wanted to make our day characteristic and memorable for all our friends and family. And so it should!

Who would be your dream client? Dream collaboration?

My dream collaboration would be a wonderfully unique photographer. I love to see my work from a different perspective.

My perfect client would be someone who revels in the idea of uniqueness and is looking to experience a completely personal wedding day.
